2023-2024 Season Availability

2023-2024 Season Availability

Bienvenidas

Fall has arrived in dramatic fashion and has probably left many of us dreaming of escaping to warmer weather. The upcoming season is mostly full but we have had some recent changes in our spring availability. The one bedroom condo has availability between March 23th and March 30 and after April 15th. The two bedroom condo only has availability after April 15.

Let us know if you would like to spend some time in Bucerias, where the weather is consistently warm and sunny and the margaritas are cold and intoxicating.

Tell your family and friends!

Thank you very much for referring your family and friends to stay at Bucerias Beachfront Condos. We really appreciate it.

Mucho Gracias,

Brian

Our Favourites

Our Favourites

The late fall is a pleasant time to be in Bucerias. The days are hot, nights are cool and skies are consistently blue. The ocean is warm and winds calm. And, all of this is shared with just a few people as the peak season is a month away. The beaches are empty, with the occasional Mexican family having a picnic for the afternoon.

As for dining, we stuck to our favourites. It’s hard to try new places when the food is so good. Rico’s Tacos, otherwise known as the “rim” taco for the tire wheel used as a BBQ, on Mexico avenue was still the first choice for tacos and gringas. Take it home or if you dine there just remember to bring your own bottle of wine or six pack of pacifico. For breakfast, we walked a half block from the condo towards town to Los Pericos. Their breakfast menu was diverse, delicious and the outdoor seating area was always basking in the morning sun. Even if we planned breakfast elsewhere I would still have my morning coffee there. As we do every time we visit Bucerias, we dine at Sandrina’s, a very festive and colourful mediterranean restaurant on the southern part of town. Try to go on Monday nights when there is live flamenco music and dancing. Reservations are required as they are very busy. Lastly, a night out in “town” must end, according to my children, with a stop at the churro stand. This year we noticed another churro stand open shop with fancy new stainless steel equipment. We remain loyal to original churro stand run by an older man and his wife. No fancy stainless steel, just homemade PVC piping and that same delicious taste.

December in Bucerias

December in Bucerias

This year we visited Bucerias in early December. What a great time to come – very few tourists, no crowds, and consistently hot days with cooler evenings. We also explored the north coast, spending scenic fun filled days in San Pancho and Chacala. San Pancho, a 30 minute minute drive north, is a tranquil town with miles of uncrowded beach and impressive surf. Chacala, a hour north of Bucerias, is a tiny beach town situated on a picturesque bay with very calm waters – ideal for swimming and snorkelling. We can’t wait to go back!

Spring Break 2011!

Spring Break 2011!

We were just here over christmas, but coming back for spring break still felt like a treat. This trip around, we took it easy and did little as far as new adventures.

We went to the PV Zoo near Mismaloya. We enjoyed the chance to feed the animals and even pet the baby tigers and jaguars. There was also an opportunity to hold a lemur and a squirrel monkey. Gorgeous animals! Our new restuaant adventure was “Encore” Restaurant & Jazz lounge on Avenida Pacifico. The fish of the day was perfect. The Vietnamese spring rolls were refreshing and the margaritas were plenty. The weather this time of year is consistenly hot and the pool perfectly refreshing.

Each trip ties us more to ths place. We plan to come back early December – we hear there are parades that time of year in Puerto Vallarta. More to explore…

Bucerias ArtWalk

Bucerias ArtWalk

Artwalk is a weekly tradition in Puerto Vallarta. Two years ago, Bucerias ArtWalk was born. Bucerias ArtWalk is on every Thursday night from 7-10 pm. Stroll Lazaro Cardenas on the south side of the foot bridge, visit the galleries and enjoy local snacks such as goodies from Pie in the Sky.

Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year 2011!

Happy New Year from Bucerias Beachfront Condo! We’re enjoying a Mexican New Year’s celebration on the beach tonight! Pacificos and fireworks – this is paradise!

This trip we explored the east side of Bucerias – seeing some farmland, cattle ranches and little villages. We checked out the Botanical Gardens – which has a lovely restaurant with an amazing view – but do bring some bug repellant for the walk and a light sweater for the restaurant patio.
